Residents Association details and newsletters

Throughout the South East every Parish Council confronted with a planning application for shale gas or oil exploration has opposed it. We hope that the Balcombe Parish Council will see sense and also oppose the proposed explorationworks.

However, previous actions raised some concerns and a group of Balcombe residents set up the Frack Free Balcombe Residents Association (FFBRA) to provide a voice and support to those residents who object to the attempted shale gas exploration within the Parish of Balcombe.

The association is open to all residents of Balcombe with similar aims.

The first AGM was held at Bramble Hall on the morning of Saturday 5th October 2013 when over 150 members were enrolled and we are now more than 200 strong knowing that the more members we have the louder our voice will be heard and we would urge you to ask your neighbours to join.

We have arranged a drop in session on Saturday 7th December from 2pm to 4pm when we hope to be able to answer any questions you may have.

Regular updates, technical papers and newsletters will be published on this website to provide additional information as required to ensure that the residents remain fully informed.

If you would like to receive the information direct then please complete an application form and we will forward everything direct to your e-mail address.
